More on STOȻEȽ

For decades, STOȻEȽ has been sharing the treasured stories and beautiful worldview of the W̱SÁNEĆ people. We invite you to experience the traditional dishes of W̱SÁNEĆ and listen to STOȻEȽ share some of his stories on the place we all call home.

As a teacher at the ȽAU, WELṈEW̱ School, STOȻEȽ has been at the forefront of preserving and revitalizing the SENĆOŦEN language. With the development of the "Language Nest" program at ȽAU, WELṈEW̱, SENĆOŦEN has re-emerged and W̱SÁNEĆ youth are once again immersed in learning, speaking and thinking about the world as their ancestors did. We are honoured he has agreed to be our evening's host.
